According to Morgan Stanley noted that once the summer travel season came to end, the oil oversupply situation is likely to happen. United States line pipe market is expected to remain weak trend.
Last week, United States domestic and imports market of API X-42 ERW line pipe order activities and inquiries volume are very low, due to global oversupply, which led United States oil inventory levels high, continuing to block drilling works.
Currently, the United States domestic market spot prices of API X-42 ERW remained unchanged, ex-factory prices in the Midwest are still at US$40~42/CWT (US$882~926/ton, US$800~840/short ton).
