It is reported that the United States domestic wire rod market remained flat this week, due to the sluggish market demand and uncertainty for future demand.
Despite optimism in the economic outlook that it will drive industrial development, including infrastructure spending and incentives for manufacturing, and sources say optimism is beginning to be more conservative.
The U.S. domestic wire mills mainly rely on raw material costs and import competition to promote price policy. At present, the U.S. domestic scrap prices are expected to fall again next month, and new imports of wire resources in the United States have become attractive after the US launched anti-dumping investigations.
