China Beihai Cheng Tak reports success with No. 5 production line-The 20th China(Guangzhou) Die-casting, Foundry & Industry Furnace Exhibition

China’s Beihai Cheng Tak Metal Rolling Co., Ltd. has completed hot run test of No. 5 solution annealing pickling line at end of December last year successfully.
The first hot-rolled stainless coil was AISI304 and it only took 5 months to install related facilities and then output smoothly. The No. 5 solid solution line is designed as mixed production, and equipped with three continuous rolling units, which will enable processing of stainless strips with different grade and surface on production line.
This production line was mainly for hot-rolled & cold-rolled stainless coil of 200 series and 300 series. The line speed is about 120meter/min, and annual capacity will be at 700,000 tons, and available dimension as 1000-1550mm wide and 1.0-6.0mm thickness.
The project was an important key of Beihai Cheng Tak in 2018, after completion, annual capacity of solid solution pickling can reach 3.5 million tons. Besides, Beihai Cheng Tak can self control the quality of hot-rolled coils and establish stable standards for further processing of cold-rolled stainless.
