China''s Zhongtian Iron & Steel became the first continuous casting steel partner of ThyssenKrupp in Germany.
Zhongtian Iron & Steel and ThyssenKrupp have conducted several technical negotiations since November last year. In May this year, ThyssenKrupp technical director went to Zhongtian Iron & Steel confirmed the final technical plan, carried out 7 key process tests, and produced the product in small quantities for the first time in September.
The batches were tested by various technologies and the quality was comparable to that of ThyssenKrupp. The first batch of products has been shipped to customers and will continue to track the feedback to assess whether it could be mass produced.
ThyssenKrupp is a German industrial giant and a well-known wind power bearing manufacturer. High-end wind power bearing steel is mainly used to make bearing steel balls inside wind turbines.
In addition, Zhongtian Iron & Steel has sold more than 300 high-tech and high-addition products, and has been successfully selected as the world''s top supplier list of automotive bearings, engineering machinery, nuclear power wind power, etc., and was the world''s largest manufacturer of special steel bars and wire rods.
