Centrifugal casting is the technique to manufacture symmetrical and homogeneous pipes and components. Various materials are able to be cast by this technique. However, LAWAI Industrial Corporation uses stainless steel only to do the circular economy.
Stainless steel is one of the most eco-friendly materials in the world. It is 100% recyclable. According to Patrina Tsai, the assistant manager of international sales department at LAWAI, each centrifugally cast pipe at LAWAI would be marked a tracing number on the outer surface before packing. Therefore, they are able to purchase their stainless steel pipes / components back from the customers when the pipes are old enough to be replaced. As they know the percentage of chemical composition of each material produced at LAWAI well, they can remelt the used materials by using the special technique, then manufacture the new products made from the recyclable ones.
LAWAI is not only a centrifugal casting manufacturer for providing more sustainable pipes, but also an environmental-friendly company for promoting a circular economy. The employees of the enterprise have deep expertise in metals and understand that they would not degrade during recycling process but might be depleted one day if people do not use them properly.
